This mod simply adds a new starter player home in a new location inside the Schoolhouse in Goodsprings. It includes it's own keys and plenty of storage and other workbenches. The whole mod also includes one piece of unique apparel, lore and an unmarked quest to unlock all the containers inside. Fallout: New Vegas. So far, I've been using one of the foot lockers in Doc's house in Goodsprings, and so far, so good. I'm thinking the School house safe might be a good short-term storage, since I don't believe the safes will respawn items, once they've been opened.what do you think?

Here's some random tidbits off the top of my head (with hopefully minimal spoilers):Gambling is a good source of money once you get to casinos (if you have 7 or more luck).If, for some reason, you get bored of Goodsprings, the rest of the game is better. Just follow the 'They went that-a way' quest.If you somehow piss off everybody in the game, don't worry, you can still beat it by doing the quest of a guy named 'Yes Man' (unless you blow him up with energy weapons, then you're out of luck. No need to shoot him though).When viewing weapons, you'll notice it changes between showing you the Damage and DPS. High Damage/low DPS weapons are good for anybody who looks like they have armor. High DPS/Low Damage weapons are good for anyone who doesn't look like they have good armor.Unless you have a maxxed strength, be sure to keep a alcoholic drink or two on you. It increases your strength, so they're very handy in case you need to haul more loot than you can normally carry back home (or to your stash). If you get addicted, the withdrawal symptoms aren't nearly as bad as Buffout (another strength booster, generally save it for emergencies).If you make it to a town called 'Novac', that's where you'll be able to get a somewhat early homebase.

Talk to the innkeeper and either get to be liked by the Novac community or just pay her 100 caps.Your general 'shopping list' when scavenging should usually include duct tape, scrap electronics, scrap metal, wonderglue, and wrenchs. Nobody here will blame you for that. It's ok, just let it happen. The biggest change I'd say is that, especially at the beginning, the game is much more story driven and going off the beaten path will get you killed at low level. I'd recommend just falling the main quest for the most part until you hit Boulder City.

All in all the quest can take 1to 2 hours to complete.Ifyou're expecting a hardcore combat mod, this will likely disappointyou as it is not a combat centered mod. But I think it's a prettyfun quest when you do it as soon as you leave Doc Mitchell's houseas it's intended. I'm aware people will be playing the mod at manydifferent levels, but at it's core it's designed to be played witha new character. While it is clean, I don't feel it is palacial in anyway. Garbagecan that respawns with a small amount of caps. Throw away junk youdon't want and in 3 days it will be replaced with a modest (leveled)amount of caps.
